Now hoist the tender from the water and continue to raise it to the vertical position remove the hoisting line and secure the tender to the pushpit.
If you are going on a short  voyage, you can hoist the tender to the horizontal position and secure it to the pushpit, so that it is ready for quick launching.

To leave the boat in your tender, reverse the procedure, to lower the tender into the water and then secure the lifting bridle to the pushpit, with a slip knot that you can reach from the water.

With the addition of two further slings fitted parallel to the originals, it is possible to lift a casualty from the water by following the same procedure [substituting the casualty for the tender] to raise a person to the pushpit for easier recovery.
The basic system as shown is for a 2.4meter tender, on a boat with inboard rudder, stand off brackets are available for boats with transom hung rudders or boarding ladders.

The foregoing procedure will be available as a video shortly.
