DinghyStow

Still towing your tender?

 Why not DinghyStow it?

Installation instructions:
First make sure all the parts are in the packaging see  list:
Temporary set up:
Take the two main slings and attach a length of line to the  transom fixing brackets, temporarily attach these  lines to the pushpit legs or  cleats at the transom, as far apart as the width of your transom will allow, lower the slings into the water and float your tender over the slings.
Adjust the lines to the correct length so that the tender is close to the transom and the fixed ends are approx 100mm [4 inches]  below the rubbing strake/deck level.
Attach your lifting device [spare halyard, handy billy etc] to the bridle ring and hoist your tender into the stowed position and secure it there with separate lines, checking at all times that it is not snagged on any fittings etc.
Also check that the stowed tender is not obscuring the stern navigation light or obstructing the engine / heater exhaust fittings and will not obstruct the bilge pump or any other outlet.
Final fixing:
Once you are satisfied with the stowed position of the tender, mark the transom bracket fixing holes.
Check that there are no wires, pipes or other obstructions  behind the fixing points before drilling.
Lower the tender and drill and fix the brackets to the transom.
Make up some permanent securing lines to secure the tender in the stowed position.
